MSA 90 A2B2E2K2 Respirator – Professional Respiratory Protection

The MSA 90 ABEK2 filter cartridge is a high-performance gas filter providing protection against a wide range of chemical substances. Compliant with the EN14387 standard, it offers protection against organic, inorganic and acid gases, as well as ammonia and its derivatives. The 9X series of gas and combined filters is fully compliant with the REACH Regulation and contains no toxic substances as defined in the EC Regulation.

• Type, properties and composition of the contaminant
• The oxygen content must be sufficient for breathing [> 17 % by volume]
• Local and national restrictions or requirements must be observed

For all gases and vapours that may occur together with particles [dust, smoke, mist, water mist], a combined filter [providing protection against gases and particles] must be used. Filter recommendations are based on pure substances. In the case of mixtures, by-products or decomposition products, admixtures must be taken into account. For compounds with a boiling point below 65°C, AX filters must be used. If a particle filter [e.g. A-P2] is listed for a specific substance in the list above, this means that particles frequently accompany the gases or vapours of that substance.
